Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has faced tough waters since its announcement in 2019, and today, a hard jab hit the game’s community like no other.

After the mysterious removal of the lead director Brian Mitsoda and producer Ka’ai Cluney, as well as the departure of the games senior narrative designer Cara Ellison last year, the game’s official sources informed that lead developer Hardsuit Labs will no longer be involved in the project, and not only that but the game was also delayed indefinitely.

The announcement was made during the game’s latest development update. No further details regarding the decision were revealed.

The game will be a direct sequel to the acclaimed Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, released in 2004, and promises to bring fans a rich storyline, filled with compelling characters and meaningful choices, all of that, while offering a new look at the series universe, with high graphical fidelity.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Pre-orders of the title are no longer available.
