Shin Megami Tensei fans will be thrilled to hear that the long awaited SMTV release date has been leaked and that they wont need to wait long.

SMTV Release Date

Well, there’s hardly a better source of a leak than one done on the company’s part themselves. Years ago the Smash Ultimate website leaked Castlevania representation a day early, and this time the official Japanese website for SMTV showed a release date of November 11th, 2021.

The game was said to be a worldwide release before, so this should be the Western release date too. I should state this has obviously since been reverted, though screenshots have been taken.

New Details About the Game

This will obviously contain some amount of spoilers, but to those interested, read on.

Here’s an example of the details shown on the website before being brought back to its usual state. Details about the story, combat, characters, and setting are all given here, and I can give a brief summary.

The main hero is an ordinary high school student who wanders into a mysterious world and fuses with an odd man to become a forbidden being in a battle of gods and demons. Other details include the amount of demons in the game (200+), the setting, and Deluxe Edition which I will assume is Japanese only to temper my expectations, as well as basic details like number of players, age rating (C on the CERO scale), etc.
