Hawkeye: Disney+ Series’ First Trailer Released

On Monday, Marvel released the first trailer for the Hawkeye Disney Plus series, set to release on November 24th.

The new Hawkeye series will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame with Clint Barton, played by Jeremy Renner, returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this time on the small screen.

What is going on in the Hawkeye trailer?

The trailer begins with the emergence of a copycat version of Clint Barton’s murderous samurai alter ego ‘Ronin’ who appeared briefly during Endgame. Clint: who is confused about the rise of the new version of Ronin, decides to come out of retirement to investigate the impersonator.

On his search, Clint runs into Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld. For comic readers, the name Kate Bishop will ring familiar with Bishop becoming the new version of Hawkeye after Clint.

The rest of the trailer sees Bishop become Barton’s sidekick as they search through New York City during the holiday season to investigate the mysterious Ronin copycat.

Hawkeye is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s fourth digital series released on the Disney Plus platform. The series released before Hawkeye: WandaVision, the Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki all received praise from critics and fans alike.

Alongside Renner and Steinfeld, the series will star Vera Farminga, Fra Free, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox.

The first episode of Marvel Studio’s Hawkeye is set to release on Disney+ on November 24th with each episode after releasing weekly.
