The event is a continuation of the previous Land and Sea Awaken event, which saw us battling Kyogre and Groudon for a variety of rewards. Following suit with previous Pokemon Masters EX events, by completing single-player battles players can collect Prize Coins which can be exchanged for pulls in an event pull box.

This time around, Sync-Pairs from Hoenn provide bonus Prize Coins when they’re used to complete any of the battles in the Masters of Land and Sea event. The associated Sync Pairs for this event are May & Swampert (x1.4 bonus), Wallace & Milotic (x1.4 bonus), Flannery & Torkoal (x1.2 bonus), Norman & Slaking (x1.2 bonus).

Also making their first appearance as Sync Pairs as well are Maxie & Groudon and Archie & Kyogre, both of which provide a 1.6 multiplier bonus to Prize Coins in battles they are used them. These two strike Sync Pairs also have powerful master skills and potent weather-based abilities making them power additions to any team.
