Pokemon Go is holding a Community day for one of the most popular Pokemon in the series next month, it’s time for Eevee to take the spotlight.

This will make for a particularly interesting Community day, given that unlike pretty much every other Pokemon, Eevee can evolve into many different forms, rather than simply progress through a list of family evolutions.

When is the 2021 Pokemon Go Eevee Community day?

The Eevee Community day will begin on August 13 at 10:00 AM and run – rather uniquely – until 10:00 AM on August 16th.

This is pretty unusual as far as Community days go in Pokemon Go, though if any Pokemon was going to have an unusual Community day, it would be Eevee, given the eight possible evolutions of the Pokemon.

Speaking of unusual, the time is as well. Typically Community days and most events are in local time, but this particular event is listed as PDT, which is GMT -7. Make sure to check your timezones accordingly!

What should we expect?

As per usual for just about any Community day, just about every spawn in Pokemon Go will be replaced with the featured Pokemon, in this case, Eevee. That means a hell of a lot of Eevees, and given the enhanced duration of this event compared to normal Community days, possibly more than you’d expect.

And if that many days of Eevee still aren’t enough for you, the event will also change the spawns from basic lures and Incense to be Eevee as well, so you have a backup option to generate even more of them.

We’re excited to announce that Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon, will be featured during August’s Community Day event—which will span two days instead of just one! And that’s not all: when you evolve Eevee into any of its Evolutions from Friday, August 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, August 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. PDT (GMT ?7), that Pokémon will know a special attack! During this time, evolving Eevee into Sylveon will also require fewer hearts than usual.

In celebration of Eevee Community Day, stickers inspired by Eevee and its Evolutions will be available throughout August! You can get stickers inspired by Eevee by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop, while stickers inspired by Eevee’s Evolutions will be available exclusively from the shop.

Other Eevee Community day bonuses

Evolving Eevee during the event into any evolved form will give it a Community day special attack – definitely worth a look for those players hoping to get an Eevee or two capable of some PvP surprises, or just to diversify their attack options.

  • Vaporeon: Scald
  • Jolteon: Zap Cannon
  • Flareon: Superpower
  • Espeon: Shadow Ball
  • Umbreon: Psychic
  • Leafeon: Bullet Seed
  • Glaceon: Water Pulse
  • Sylveon: Psyshock
  • Eevee caught or hatched during this time will know Last Resort.

Additionally, evolving Eevee into Sylveon will require only seven hearts as opposed to the usual seventy hearts, rapidly speeding up the process. And on top of that, we can expect special timed research that will reward us with a Mossy Lure module and a Glacial Lure module.

The Community day Box

The Community day box will contain all of the following for 1,280 Pokecoins.

  • 50 Ultra Balls,
  • five Incense,
  • an Elite Fast TM,
  • and an Elite Charged TM.

Anything else to be aware of?

The usual boosts to Incense and Lure module duration to 3 hours in total, as well as a surprise reduction in the distance required to hatch an egg – all the way down to 1/4 of the usual amount. Additionally, a special research ticket called What You Choose to Be is available for the Community day event for $1 (or regional pricing.)
