Pokemon Go: How to evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir

Dusknoir in the Pokemon Anime

Dusknoir is a powerful Ghost-type Pokemon, but how do you get it in Pokemon Go? How much candy do you need for it, are any evolution items required?

Fortunately enough, all easy questions to answer, so let’s get into it.

How to get Dusknoir in Pokemon Go

Dusknoir can be a bit more annoying to get than most Pokemon. You’ll need to get started by finding plenty of Duskull – whichever one you want to evolve and then however many you need to catch to reach 125 candy in total – as 25 is used for the evolution to Dusclops before the next step to Dusknoir.

With the 100 candy and a Dusclops ready, you’ll then need to get a Sinnoh Stone to be able to evolve your Dusclops again, which will finally give you your Dusknoir in Pokemon go.

While that may not seem like a lot of steps, Sinnoh Stones can be quite annoying to get, as they’re available from only a few limited sources. Two possible ways to get a Sinnoh Stone are clearing research breakthroughs, and completing trainer battles. They may also appear as a one-off research reward randomly or during events, so keep an eye out for them.

It’s also worth noting there are other Pokemon that need those Sinnoh Stones to evolve too, so make sure to check out the link above to be sure you want to evolve Dusknoir with your stone if you don’t have a few of them.

Is there anything else to know?

That’s pretty much all there is to Dusknoir, it doesn’t have any extra requirements such as weather or gender to mention.

That’s about everything that needs to be said for Dusknoir. If you’re looking for more Pokemon Go content like this guide or other stories, you can find them in our Pokemon Go Category, and if you’d instead like to see more by me specifically, you can find my page here.
