Pokemon Go: How to evolve Roselia into Roserade

Roserade in the Pokemon anime

Roserade is a powerful Poison/Grass Dual-type with great matchups against other Grass types, but how do you get Roserade in Pokemon Go?

Fortunately enough, this is a pretty easy question to answer, so let’s get into it.

How to get Roserade in Pokemon Go

Roserade in Pokemon Go is easier to get than a fair few other Pokemon I could name, but it does still have an extra requirement more than most. Before we get to that though, you’ll need the obvious.

To get Roserade in Pokemon Go, you’ll first need either a Budew or Roselia and 125 candy. If you’re starting from Roselia, you can drop 25 candy from that total as thats the cost of evolving Budew for the first time.

When you’ve got the candy and Pokemon itself sorted, you’ll also need a consumable item known as a Sinnoh Stone.

Sinnoh stones are fairly annoying items to get ahold of. Your best bet for finding them is typically claiming research breakthroughs or completing trainer battles, which means it’s a real problem for players who don’t actively PVP. You might also be able to find one through limited-time research or rare tasks, so keep an eye out.

When you’ve found yourself a Sinnoh Stone, make sure to check out the link above to be certain you want to use it for Roserade – there are quite a few Pokemon who need this item to evolve.

Is there anything else to be aware of?

That’s pretty much it for Roserade, once you know what the extra item you need is, it’s pretty easy to make the evolution happen. Provided you have any Sinnoh Stones to hand, anyway.

That’s about everything that needs to be said for Roserade. If you’re looking for more Pokemon Go content like this guide or other news and stories, you can find them in our Pokemon Go Category, and if you’d instead like to see more by me specifically, you can find my page here.
