Knives Out 2 filming starts in Greece; Detective Benoit Blanc is back!
Rian Johnson’s unique take on the “Whodunit” has been lauded by audiences as one of the best movies in the last several years and it’s clear to see why. Daniel Craig stuns audiences as Benoit Blanc, Ana de Armas is an incredible co-protagonist and the star-studded supporting class all lend their talents to create a fantastic mystery full of twists and turns. Now, following Knives Out in 2019… Knives Out 2 has started filming! Here’s everything we know about Knives Out 2 so far…
LATEST – Knives Out 2 Begins Filming
Earlier today, June 28th, Rian Johnson confirmed the news that his highly-anticipated Knives Out sequel has begun filming in Greece. You can see what he said about it himself in the Tweet below:
Rian Johnson isn’t one to spoil anything too early, but it looks like Knives Out 2 is going to hve Benoit Blanc tackle another murder.

Of course, there’s going to be more to it than just a simple death. However, we can imagine that if anyone can further subvert the traditional “Murder Mystery” genre, it’s Rian Johnson. He’s done it once already…
Knives Out 2’s Cast Is Phenomenal
Knives Out had a fantastic cast. It was arguably one of the film’s biggest strengths. Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas and Katherine Langford all lent their talent to the wonderful narrative being developed by Rian Johnson. Sadly, it doesn’t look like any of the secondary characters in Knives Out are joining Daniel Craig in Knives Out 2… That doesn’t mean Rian Johnson hasn’t secured some top tier talent for his sequel, though.
At the moment, the following actors and actresses are allegedly going to appear in Knives Out 2:
- Dave Bautista;
- Kathryn Hahn;
- Jessica Henwick;
- Edward Norton;
- Kate Hudson;
- Leslie Odom Jr.;
- Janelle Monae;
- and Madelyn Cline
Yeah… There’s a lot of talent in that Knives Out 2 cast. It’s arguably better than the first!
