The official description is as follows:

In a world where humans and fearsome monsters live in an uneasy balance, young hunter Aiden fights to save his village from destruction by a dragon. Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild premieres August 12, only on Netflix

In the trailer, we can see a young Aiden, the Excitable A-Lister from Monster Hunter: World, chasing a small prey. When he fails, he is saved by the Ace Commander Julius, who warns the boy of the coming of a dragon directly to his village.

Aiden is determined to save his people, and together with Julius and other members of the Ace Hunters, they are ready to slay the beast. We can see some familiar faces from the Ace Hunters from Monster Hunter 4.

Legends of the Guild was supposed to be released back in 2019, but after some production problems, the movie produced by Pure Imagination Studios is finally here. The script was written by Joshua Fine (Wolverine and the X-Man) and the animation was directed by Steve Yamamoto (The Transformers saga, Deadpool 2).
