Enacfire G10 Earbuds Review – Are wireless earbuds the future?

Enacfire G10 Earbuds

If you grew up before the 2010s you likely suffered using wired earphones, that would frequently get yanked out of your ear as you walked, especially if you were tall.

Thankfully now that isn’t the case as technology evolves and now we can listen to music or podcasts without the need for pesky wires.

But, are earbuds the future or just another trend that won’t replace the trusty wire? Today we’re going to put the Enacfire G10 Earbuds to the test and find out.

What Are The Enacfire G10 Earbuds?

The Enacfire G10 Earbuds are wireless earphones that just go into your ear and allow for wireless streaming of audio from your phone or other audio devices, seamlessly connecting via Bluetooth for high-quality digital audio with no dropouts or static.

Unlike other similar products such as Apple’s Airpods, they don’t have any housing that hangs out of your ear, instead, they place very discreetly into the ear, it is quite difficult to even tell that someone is wearing them.

Aren’t You Worried They’re Going To Fall Out?

This is the question that kept me on the fence about in-ear headphones for a number of years. With it being so easy to forget you’re wearing headphones, especially when they’re turned off, what if I’m out on a walk and suddenly realize that one isn’t in my ear?

Well, after an extensive amount of time using these, around a month or so at the time of writing this, there have been no instances where these have fallen out of the ear and have remained in place while remaining extremely comfortable for extended periods of time.

Now To Get Technical

Now that we’ve discussed what in-ear headphones are, let’s talk about the specs and my experience taking these out of the box and using them.

When unboxing the Enacfire G10 earbuds you are presented with a very stylish box that holds your earbuds when you’re not using them. But, make sure you don’t lose it as this isn’t just a storage box, this is where you will charge your earbuds.

By placing the earbuds in the case, you can connect a USB-C cable to charge both the earbuds and case, providing 6 hours of playtime to the earbuds, and 30 hours to the case. Meaning that once you are done with them for the day you can put them back in the case to charge them up without needing to use the USB-C cable every time, this is incredibly handy.

When using them for the first time one thing I did like, and appreciate, was that the volume can be turned up or down from the earbud itself, meaning that you don’t need to get your phone out of your pocket if you need to change the volume.

You can press one earbud to turn the volume up and other to turn it down, this comes in handy if someone tries to talk to you, much quicker than needing to get your phone out of your pocket, unlock it, and then turn the volume down.

The Enacfire G10’s are 20% smaller than previous models to provide a comfortable fit and provide 40% more bass and 100% more treble, which results in the sound is very well balanced and suit every style of music. Whether listening to more bass-heavy hip hop or electronic music, or more mid and treble based rock and metal, it sounds very balanced and clear. Quite often with cheaper headphones, they have very little bass, which is essential for a full sound. That isn’t the case with the G10’s, songs sound very clear and full, especially considering the price.

It also isn’t just music that these can be used for, the Enacfire G10 earbuds also feature a low latency Game Mode, providing latency as low as 70ms, which is fairly fast for wireless headphones. It would be good to see the latency lowered further, closer to 30-40ms would be ideal, but 70ms is still acceptable for mobile gaming as most games don’t require low latency audio.

Can I Just Use One Earbud At A Time?

The Enacfire G10’s can be used in either single or couple mode. This can be incredibly handy if you still need to be aware of your surroundings or hear people talking to you, such as in the workplace. If you place one of the earbuds back into the case the single one will continue to work as normal, and once the second earbud is taken back out of the case it will automatically connect back up to your device and allow for stereo listening once again.
