Will The New Lego Star Wars Game Have Split-Screen?

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the next game from the Lego Star Wars Series and will see players go through various missions spanning all 9 movies that make up the Skywalker Saga featuring every classic character including Luke and Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Kylo Ren and more.

The Skywalker Saga is almost here and we want to know if the next Lego Star Wars game is going to have split screen gameplay? Here’s what we know below.

Split-Screen games are a rare breed in today’s gaming landscape. Despite their obvious popularity, perhaps being highlighted in particular by the COVID-19 pandemic, they don’t seem to crop up very often.

That, in part, is what makes TT Games’ Lego titles so appealing to a wider audience. They don’t just capitalise on some of the best IP’s with a unique, light-hearted humour… They are also great multiplayer titles!

From what we understand at the moment, the newest Lego Star Wars game WILL have split-screen! Come on, what kind of Lego game would it be without local multiplayer?

If we look back at the last few Lego titles from TT Games, they’ve all had split-screen features so the new Lego Star Wars game will most-likely be the same!

This is a pretty good way for TT Games to avoid answering the eternal Star Wars debate, if you ask us!

Should you play through the new Lego Star Wars game 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9? Or, maybe 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ,8 ,9?

It’s the watch – well, playing – order debate that will never be solved it seems. But, that doesn’t mean the new Lego Star Wars game is limiting itself to the Skywalker Saga content-wise! DLC packs for The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch are both reportedly in the works.
