Jon Moxley challenges Nick Gage to a Deathmatch at GCW

Since leaving the WWE in 2019, Jon Moxley, formerly Dean Ambrose, has been going back to his roots of hardcore wrestling, taking part in a Light Out and a Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch with Kenny Omega in AEW.

Now it looks like Moxley is going even further back to his roots and is set to take part in a Deathmatch against one of the matches greatest performers, Nick Gage.

Last night, April 9th, at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 5, or GCW rSpring Break, Jon Moxley appeared after the show’s main event which saw Nick Gage capture the GCW Heavyweight Championship from Rickey Shane Page.

Moxley confronted Gage, with the two staring each other down, before Moxley hit a Paradigm Shift onto a stack of light tubes.

After the match it was announced by Gage that the two will be facing off in a Deathmatch.

No word has been said regarding which promotion the match will take place in, whether it will be GCW, AEW, or somewhere else, nor has a date been set.
